Professional background
Peter has held senior technical roles at Australian Taxation Office and currently has carriage of the most significant and high-risk matters. He has over 20 years of experience in advising on domestic structuring, capital raising and management, mergers and acquisition, corporate financing/financial arrangements, and international tax. He has particular expertise in the financial services industry.
Peter has published widely, including contributing to A Guide to Taxation of Financial Arrangements, the Australian Tax Forum and Thomson Reuters tax commentaries. Peter is a Chartered Tax Adviser, Chartered Accountant and was admitted as a legal practitioner in the Supreme Court of NSW.
