Revenue NSW has invited feedback on the legislative review of the State Revenue and Fines Legislation Amendment (Miscellaneous) Act 2022.
This review, coordinated by Revenue NSW, is required under section 128 of the Taxation Administration Act 1996 (NSW) and section 317 of the Duties Act 1997 (NSW). The review aims to determine whether the amendments’ policy objectives remain valid and whether the terms of the amendments remain appropriate for securing them.
Submissions are due by 31 January 2025. We are currently seeking feedback from members on your views on the legislation.
