Super early bird now available - Program coming soon!

Top tax technical program and first-class networking event

The Barossa Convention has a rich history as one of The Tax Institute’s leading events for SME practitioners in South Australia and around the country. The high-quality technical program allows delegates time to go in-depth on the latest issues in tax and mingle with some of Australia’s best tax minds over three relaxing days in the stunning setting of the Barossa Valley.

Invigorating discussion and practical application

The expert led technical program will feature a mix of plenaries, panel discussions and in-depth case studies, allowing delegates the time to get into the latest tax issues impacting their clients. Along with a key focus on practical examples, tips and strategies as takeaways from the event, the format allows for ample attendee interaction, discussion and robust debate during the sessions or as part of the networking events.

Unique industry networking and idyllic location

Set to become the standout of the The Barossa Convention each year are its off-site dinners held at one of the regions world-renowned wineries. Combined with the pre-event networking function on Wednesday night, there’s plenty of opportunity to meet up with friends and peers, old and new, from accounting, law, financial services and regulatory backgrounds while in the Barossa Valley, an iconic destination for interstaters and locals alike.

To ensure you experience the full Barossa Convention, we recommend booking your accommodation at the Novotel Barossa Valley Resort.
