Tax and the City - Property Development

Source: Victoria

Published Date: 29 Jul 2008

Property developer clients are unique because they have income tax, GST and cash flow challenges unlike any other client, which can be a frustrating experience for an accountant. How can an accountant know that he or she is asking the right questions?

This event was aimed at accountancy practitioners and their staff with property developer clients, legal practitioners and financial planners and advisors. It gave delegates a chance to hear (from an experienced accountant and active property developer) about the latest income tax and GST changes in property developments and structuring property developments, but more importantly, what a developer expects from an accountant and what an accountant expects from a developer.
