This session used practical examples to explore the latest considerations for practitioners when advising on trust distributions and preparing distribution minutes. This session considered both the Commissioner’s practical compliance guideline on section 100A released in 2022 and developing case law on section 100A and the trustee’s discretion when making distributions generally.
