A significant number of jurisdictions have enacted the Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) Pillar Two Model Rules developed by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Inclusive Framework into their domestic law, with effect from 1 January 2024.
This session covers several critical areas in relation to Pillar Two, including highlighting the key technical issues arising for multinational groups operating in Australia, along with sharing insights on the significant challenges that in-scope groups face in understanding and managing the data and compliance requirements.
