Different Minds, Better Teams: Harnessing Neurodiversity

We’re all different and when workplaces embrace those differences, everyone has the opportunity to thrive. As awareness and understanding of neurodiversity continue to grow, forward-thinking organisations are recognising the value of different ways of thinking, learning, and working. Yet, to truly unlock this potential, traditional approaches to work need to evolve.

Join us for this engaging panel discussion at the Women in Tax WA High Tea, where we explore what neurodiversity means in practice and how we can create more inclusive and supportive environments across the profession. Our panel will bring together a range of perspectives, including lived experiences, insights from organisations on their journey towards inclusion, and practical approaches that make a real difference day-to-day.

Topics will include:

  • What neurodiversity is and how it shapes the way people think, learn, and work
  • The often-unseen experiences of neurodivergent individuals including women who may only receive a diagnosis later in life
  • How organisations are adapting policies, environments, and expectations to better support diverse working styles
  • Simple, practical adjustments that enable people to contribute and perform at their best
  • The role of mentoring, allyship, and leadership in supporting others to thrive

From workplace design to communication styles, and from awareness to action, this session will highlight how embracing neurodiversity can lead to stronger, more inclusive teams and ultimately better outcomes for everyone.
